What is a building expertise report?
A building expertise report is an assessment of a building’s technical condition, developed based on studies and calculations of the strength of its structural elements. The level of detail and scope of the report depend on the Investor’s needs or, for example, administrative decisions issued by the Building Supervision Authority. Such an expertise is essential in cases of damaged buildings (cracks, fissures, deviations from vertical alignment, excessive displacements). Building damage can result from various factors, such as foundation settlement, improper execution of structural elements, or incorrect usage. A building expertise report is also necessary after a fire or water damage to a building.
Our process begins with an on-site inspection, where we directly identify any hazards to people and property. If necessary, we immediately implement preventive measures, such as propping up ceilings or relieving structural loads. In critical cases, the building may be temporarily closed to prevent further damage or potential disasters. Our company provides comprehensive support at every stage – from initial safety measures and preparing an expertise plan to the execution of necessary repairs.
